Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate brownies are seen everywhere; coffee shops, cafés, bakeries even from a box. But, if you want the best brownies you've ever had you're better off making them yourself using this recipe. And what makes these brownies so delicious is using good quality chocolate because it makes them taste richer and chocolatey. And you could use any toppings for these brownies; nuts, candy, dried fruit, etc. So forget the boxed brownies, make these and you'll see why they're the best brownies in the world.

Ingredients:
2 (4oz.) bars good quality dark chocolate, chopped
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup Dutch prosessed cocoa powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, room temperature

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Place the dark chocolate, sugar, and butter in a microwave safe bowl

Microwave on high for 2 minutes, until the butter is melted

Stir the mix together and add the eggs and the vanilla and stir again

Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder and add it to the batter

Pour the batter into a parchment lined greased 8x8 square pan 

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean

Cool completely, slice, and serve with a cup of coffee or milk
