Have you check the ingredient label on your jam jar lately? If you have, you'll see there's about 2,000 artificial flavors and preservatives listed. This jam recipe only has 2 ingredients; strawberries & sugar. And as the title suggests it is the quickest strawberry jam ever. I understand that strawberry season has already passed, but this jam is still delicious year round. This recipe makes a small amount of jam but you can make a big batch and pour it into sterilized mason jars then store it in the fridge for about a month. You can have it on a piece of toast in the morning or even dollop a little over vanilla ice cream, YUM! How ever you choose to devour this delicious jam it is still easy make!
2 lbs. strawberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Wash the strawberries, cut off the green tops, and place them in a big bowl
Add the sugar and scrunch the strawberries and sugar together using your hands
Pour the stawberry mixture into a saucepan and boil over high heat for 30 minutes, skimming the pink foam every 10 minutes
Serve with a lovely lemon tart or any dessert you love!
